Ferda-kvelder på Evenes og Fauske

On 10 and 11 February, we were invited to inspiring theme evenings about Nortrip at Ferda's branches in Evenes and Fauske. Bjørnar and Kasper report a fantastic turnout, a great atmosphere and great interest in the Nortrip guide.

Since our start-up in 2021, Nortrip has worked closely with Ferda. This partnership includes theme nights in Ferda's department stores, where we talk about the unique experiences the Nortrip guide offers. Local Nortrip hosts also participate to share their experiences and give an insight into what Nortrip visitors can expect from them.

Evenes

Over 100 enthusiastic attendees came to the theme evening at Evenes to hear more about the Nortrip guide and meet the local hosts Røkenes Gård and Livland Gård. Kasper, our intern from Sam Eyde upper secondary school in Arendal, and Bjørnar travelled from Grimstad to Nordland to lead the evening.

The evening started with an engaging presentation of the Nortrip guide and its exciting history, which actually dates back to France in 1993. The attendees were then taken on a virtual tour of Norway, with presentations by several of our unique hosts around the country. Afterwards, Kristian from Røkenes Farm and Roy from Livland farm stories and experiences of being a Nortrip host and described the unique experiences they offer their guests.

Fauske

In Fauske, around 40 interested parties turned up to learn more about the Nortrip guide. Roy from Livland Gård was also present here, together with Martine from North Lipolarwho enthusiastically told us about exciting dog sledding adventures in Valnesfjorden, between Bodø and Fauske.

In addition, Hege Ruud from Hege's dining experiences her passion for local food. She emphasised the importance of small-scale producers in Norway and described the culinary experiences she offers.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Anne-Lise Løkken for providing lever samples from Mrs Løkkens. It was lovely!

These evenings were a fantastic opportunity to bond with our customers, share inspiring stories and talk about the great experiences that await with the Nortrip guide. Both we Nortrip and general managers Aleksander Olsen at Ferda Evenes and Sharon Karlsen at Ferda Fauske were all delighted with the evenings! We are grateful for the warm engagement and look forward to more theme evenings with Ferda in the future!
