The Nortrip guide was previously also available as a book. But in 2025, the Nortrip guide has gone fully digital.

"We've found that since the book was printed in January, it quickly became outdated by the time most people started travelling in May/June. In addition, a lot of time was spent manually packing and sending thousands of books. So this year, we're trying a digital year so that we can free up more time to develop what is the essence of Nortrip - the host network.

What about membership cards and stickers?

It also means that no physical membership cards or windscreen stickers will be sent out. Instead, when you arrive at the host, you present your digital subscription certificate in your app. The app also has the advantage that it's always up to date. We've already implemented several new features in the app, such as feedback and expansion to include Swedish hosts. Of course, it's sad to drop the book (we were very happy with it ourselves!), but we believe and hope this change will be positive for all parties.
